Congratulations civilian track applicants on your interview invites!
Now for the rest of us, the dreaded wait continues......

Has anyone heard anything yet for military interviews? Navy and Air Force are interviewing in 10 days! I would hope they would get these out quick.

No notification for AF. I called the school and the GEO representative indicated she thought invite would be going out via email this week via the GEO.

So interview invites are done via email or phone? Every time my email notification on my phone goes off my heart skips a beat lol

Invites traditionally go out via regular mail, but are usually followed up by an email. I've not seen anything to indicate phone call notification. It's getting down to the wire for AF and Navy. Now it's 9 days till interview, and if they are like me, they have to fly 2 days early just to get there in time due to travel time and time zones.

Also, applicants to military track do NOT receive funded travel like civilian track applicants do. So don't bank on them picking up the bill for those inflated priced late notice ticket purchases.

Yikes! I recently read on other threads that travel was paid for, but was not aware it was only for civilian applicants. If this is the case, military applicants should have been notified last week when civilian applicants were notified. I'd hate for a someone to not be able to show up for an interview because they could not afford it. I will have to fly as well. The drive would be about 13 hours. I'm watching ticket prices daily for airfare.

Looks like TheGradCafe added two interviews for USUHS PhD Clinical Psych offered via email 3 Feb. ahpsych, fallen, are these yours? No indication that they are for civilian or military or any additional details (date, etc) except for one applicant's stats (GRE/undergrad GPA)

What is the GradCafe?

Now I'm sweating bullets with TGC additions. LifePurpose- the grad cafe is another grad school forum. Many invites are tracked through there as well.

I received an invite today at 2:30PM!!!

Congrats! Military track or civilian?

Nice! Are you currently AD or a civilian looking to commission? May I ask who you received the email from (service POC, Graduate School Office, etc.)? Any travel accommodations?

I am currently active duty...I received the email from the program support assistant for the medical and clinical psychology program. I did not ask about travel accommodations. I know I'll get a PTDY, but I'm pretty sure I will have to pay out of pocket, which I don't mind doing at all.

Yes, congrats! Hopefully we get some more people posting up so we know what is what.

Nice! What's your current AFSC? Where will you be coming from? Who's lab did you apply to? Sorry...inquiring minds want to know!

Sorry I'm just seeing this, but no, it wasn't mine. Sounds like interviews are now going out for AF - congrats to those who have gotten them!

Well..congrats all for your invites!

No more beating around the bush, All invites have been extended as of yesterday. Congrats to all that received invites. To those that didn't, good luck and continue to improve your packet for next year if you wish to apply again.

Anyone familiar with volunteering / internship at USUHS?

congrats all on interview invites, I wish you the best and travel safely as D.C. weather is expected to still be
cold and dreary for at least the next week.

Has anyone actually gotten a rejection letter or email? Do you know when we should expect those?

Do we know if the Medical Psychology PhD operates on the same schedule as the Clinical PhD? I have yet to hear anything and there's nothing posted on GradCafe (from this year, at least).

I have been wondering the same thing. I recently saw on the grad cafe thread someone received a rejection letter last week on the 21st. Not sure if it was medical or just clinical.

Oh, interesting. I've only been searching for Medical PhD results on GradCafe. I emailed to check on my status and GEO replied saying "Your application is complete and has been sent to the department. They should be making a decision in the next few weeks. " Not sure if this is a 'waiting for a formal rejection' decision or a 'they really have two different timelines for clinical v. medical'

How long ago did you email them ?

Today, just after I posted haha. I had the realization that I could actually just go straight to the POI and ask...so I did it. Funny how sometimes that's the last thing you think of.

I was interviewed for a military track position on Feb 13th. Has anyone heard anything back from the school? Does anyone know when or how we should expect to hear about rejections or acceptances?

Received an email today from the admin specialist indicating that interview invites for the Medical PhD have not yet been extended. They are working on a different timeline.

Has anyone heard anything about acceptances or rejections for the Clinical Psychology (Navy Track) program? I'm starting to get so anxious!

I'm still waiting also -- basking in the anxiety!! Haha

Last year they said it would take two weeks for the Army and it took a month. This year they said a month, so hopefully it isn't two months :)
Does anyone know what form of communication they are using to notify applicants? I get anxious every time I get a new email haha I emailed Tricia Crum last week and she said decision should be made by this week..but I never heard anything!

They normally call, and follow up with an email.

Update: They had to postphone decisions b/c of snow/power outages. The depts have until Friday to make a decision and you all should hear back from them by next Wed.

My friend is applying there (I'm actually not), and she just spoke w someone in the grad office. Just wanted to hopefully save you all some stress!!

Anybody heard anything yet?
The student rep for the Air Force emailed me back today and told me that we should hear something back in the next several weeks from the GEO or the department. I don't know if those are the rejection letters or if it means decisions haven't been sent out yet, though. Anyone else hear anything?

I spoke to GEO today and was told no interview invitations have been extended yet due to the fact they are working on rolling admissions now. I'm still confused on this process because I was also told today that we should hear something in a few weeks. Well a few weeks ago they said a few weeks sooooo...?

Rolling admissions? What's that? I am a military track clinical psych applicant. I already did an interview. Now I'm waiting on results from that...

I know of two people who have gotten an indirect "no" for Army slots by email, and I have only heard of one person being offered an Air Force slot (she was originally interviewing for an Army slot as a direct commission civilian). No confirmations on any Army slots being offered yet or if that even means everything is finalized. Maybe they are still deciding on the last slots??
I hope so...Do you know whether the two people who received an "indirect no" interviewed there. Or did they get the no without interviewing?

They were interviewed and got a no. One person just told me she got an unofficial Army offer as well, so my chances are dwindling yet again.
it aint over until it's over!!! :)...at least that's what I keep telling myself hahaha.

Has anyone heard anything about acceptances/rejections for the navy or airforce spots? I still haven't heard anything!

I haven't received an email or a phone call from the program/GEO, regarding my status. However, I was told by the BSC Education manager that acceptances went out already quite some time ago. I guess that means we are out of the running. There's always next year!
