Regarding the UT application: In order to complete the COP application we have to first complete the application to the university itself as an undergrad student. To what extent do the two essays required for the undergrad application have on an applicant receiving the Pharmacy application and/or being accepted into UT Pharmacy school?

In other words, are these two essays required as part of the undergrad application really that important in UT's ADCOM making a decision about an applicant?

Anyone have any insight on this, or should I just suck it up and make these essays as important as the essays required for the pharmacy school application?

I don't think that the adcoms even look at the essays from the undergrad app. The undergrad app goes to a completely different building from the pharm app. I wouldn't blow it off though, you need to be accepted as an undergrad as well.
