how important is it to schedule the earliest interview dates? Do they offer the fellowship position right away or wait until they interview everyone?

Apparently there is now a match process for vascular fellowships this year-does anybody else know more information about this?

Yes, the first year of the match for vascular neurology was last year. This should make it such that the timing of your interview isn't hugely important, but I can tell you that many programs didn't play by the rules last year. I heard rumors of several programs offering spots to the top applicants somewhat unofficially prior to the match. Given this knowledge, I would still recommend trying to interview early. Hopefully these few programs will shape up, but I think they have little incentive to do so.
