Can someone point me in the direction of a good document (or likely book chapter) on decision making in management of VCF, esp regarding interventional management.

like, when to do kypho vs vertebroplasty. types of intervention for type of vertebral compression, etc

also, I have heard that bracing with a TLO/TLSO is not supported. Some people still do it, some people do it only for short term acute pain and increase in function...
others don't rx them at all.

would appreciate any insight to all of the above!

thanks

Thank you for sharing the articles. I personally don't like bracing people unless they have issues with maintaining good posture. It acts like a reminder more than anything else. But it seems like every patient in the hospital with VCF gets a TLSO with or without vertebral body augmentation.
