MD WAMC? 3.3 cGPA/3.66 sGPA, 518 MCAT, non-trad

Did my undergrad top 25 private school:
cGPA- 3.30, sGPA- 3.66 Post Bacc- 3.8 in a career changer at T25 school

MCAT- 518 (97th percentile, 99 CARS, 93 chem/phys, 93 bio/biochem, 93 psych/soc)

Shadowing- 50 hours

Clinical Volunteering- 300+ at an American ED and a free clinic and in a Chinese hospital

Research- worked 2 years for neuropsychiatric institute, didn't publish anything because i was involved in the establishment of a long-term joint project between institutions

Work- 5 years out of school living in China, last 2 working in research, a year as an education consultant, a year working for contemporary chinese art gallery

Gap Year- Post-bacc TA and In-home senior caregiver

Personal- VA Resident, Grew up in DC

Your cGPA is low, your sGPA is good, and your MCAT is excellent; it's good that you did really well in your post-bacc so hopefully that alleviates the cGPA concerns. Great activities as well, particularly your 5 yrs in China.

I think your list is ok, but can be refined. You have a lot of big names, and its okay to keep them, but I think you need a few more higher yield/realistic choices.

Remove: Howard (mission based), Brown (interview very few people)

Consider adding at least 5 schools from the following: Hofstra (low GPA avg, but like high MCAT), Va Tech, Temple, Rochester, Emory, Vermont, Wake Forest, WVU, Albany, NYMC

Also submit your app ASAP.

I would ditch Brown and Howard for reasons described above and probably remove UCSD and JHU as well.
