CA applicant, top 5 school. Ethnically URM, culturally not so much.
3.7 cgpa, around same for sgpa. 11/13/10
3 yrs clinical research
3 yrs clinical volunteering
1 yr clinical job
1 yr non clinical volunteering
~60 hrs of shadowing
leadership stuff

Things I am prioritizing:
- Happy students - Minimize high-pressure environment - P/F courses, positive student experience
- greater time emphasis on clinical rotations, systems based curriculum
- affiliated with an academic medical center
- location (large cities)

Yes, a Native American with a commitment to service to his tribe/community is rare and special. Applicants with the appropriate % to have a card, not so much. You are still a good candidate, though. You stand a good chance at many of the schools listed.

Have you already applied? Are you applying this cycle? List is very top heavy but your stats are pretty good, ECs seem pretty solid, and I don't know how much the URM will help (I'm guessing at worst, it will help a little bit at best, *Congratulations! You have been accepted into the UCSF entering class of 2015!*)

Perhaps a few more schools like Miami Miller, Loyola, OUWB, Georgetown/GW/Jefferson instead of SUNY, Westchester, or Cooper.
