This is my first time posting, but I've been a long time lurker.

So I recently took my MCAT and basically flunked it: 494. I think it was the anxiety and so little prep time. I'm aiming to apply this cycle with this score plus a 3.85 cgpa and a 4.0 sgpa, leadership positions, extracurriculars, and 300+ hours of volunteering (includes general shadowing at a clinic but not direct one-on-one doctor shadowing). Also, I'm a minority and low-income.

With that being said, what are my chances of getting in to DO schools?

Your chances for a DO acceptance are very low. You need to study extensively for the MCAT and retake when your practice scores are consistently above 505.

Yeah, I only had a month to study but I really wanted to apply this cycle. I guess next cycle it is. Thanks!
