Hello,

I applied to 150 FM programs for the 2015 Match. I'm an US IMG so I wasn't expecting a TON of ivs but to my surprise I received 0. I know it's too late to get any ivs for this season so I'm looking on ways to improve my application for next year.

Just wanted advice on how to justify some of my "red flags".
1- transferring schools (my first medical school which was in Europe was on the brink of shutting down so I transferred to a Caribbean med school). I didn't know transferring schools would be a red flag so I didn't explain it on my app in the allotted section
2 - i graduated in 2011 and retook step 1 and completed rest of my boards during this time.
3- I have 1 attempt on step 1 in 2007 (just as i had transferred to my new school- my old school never taught us geared for USMLE's.

despite these I am determined to make it as a physician here.

I'm trying to solidify my app by taking step 3 and doing some Observerships at teaching hospitals.

Any advice or anyone in similar situations?
