Good morning/afternoon, future DVMs!
Just wanted to let those of you out for review and on hold where we are at as of this morning. We have approximately 270 applications out for review and/or on hold. Please remember that the Admissions Committee reviews ALL complete applications (over 650 this year). The committee members are reviewing as quickly as they can and know that many of you are anxiously awaiting word. Rest assured that you will be notified by an e-mail from me of your status. There are some files on hold that the committee has requested the Admissions Office to request additional information before making that final decision. Some of you may have received an e-mail from Lacey, Ashley, Micheal, Jeanene, or myself requesting information or course details. As soon as the information is received your file is returned for review.
Please remember that Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 courses are not considered in the review of your file. The Admissions Committee may request to see Fall grades but typically do not. You are welcome to submit your official transcripts for Fall. We will hold all transcripts received in a file until all decisions have been made for interview invitations.
Interviews are scheduled for January 26, 28, 29 and February 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, and 12. Additional dates will be scheduled shortly. Rest assured that I will notify you as soon as possible of the committee's decision following the return of your file from committee review. Until then you are welcome to e-mail any one of us to inquire about the status of your file.

I was hoping for some news within a week or two. I don't necessarily think it's good or bad. They probably haven't gotten to ours yet.
