President and Founder of a univ. Alabama Student Rural Health Association -2 years
Alpha Epsilon Delta Vice President - 1 year
Boys and Girls Club T-ball Coach - Two seasons
Summer Internship with UABSOM (150 hours primary care shadowing)
Recitation leader for Biology 1, Biology 2, Chemistry 101. 2 years
Peer Academic Leader- (in house tutor in dorms), 2 years ( at same time as recitation leader)
College of Science Ambassador's President 1 year.
Free Clinic Pharmacy volunteer- 60 hours
University Ambassador- 1 year
Jazz Ensemble Performer- Drumset- 1 semester
40 additional Family medicine MD shadowing
40 Radiation Oncology MD shadowing
28hours Pediatrics MD shadowing
30 Hours Trauma Surgery MD Shadowing

Summer Research internship 32 hours a week X 10 weeks.

I think there are only 2 MD schools in Alabama and your GPA is pretty low for both of them. But they give a lot of interviews to in state applicants and there aren't that many of them, so if you manage to get one maybe your ECs and interview performance could help you out.

But apply as broadly as possible, you're not giving yourself much of a chance if you apply to just 2 schools.
 
I'm an alabama resident. Particularity interested in rural medicine in alabama (primary care)

Other schools I'm considering:
Tulane, University of Tenn., LSU, USF
