Aacomas let's you grade replace. You should do that. Touro nv and at still arizonia could be other good west coast options for you.

Yea is that your GPA with aacomas grade replacement included? It can be a game changer for some people.

Otherwise yea just make sure that you aren't applying to schools with cutoffs that you don't reach. Unless of course you want to offer a lovely donation to those schools heh

Yup, this is after grade replacement.
And thank you for the suggestions <3

Your MCAT score is above the average for ACOM, LMU-DCOM, and WCUCOM. But your GPA's are below the average, you've got plenty of EC's that may make it up. There were plenty of students from CA in my interviews at ACOM and LMU-DCOM. The cutoff at LMU-DCOM may get you though.
Word of caution about WCUCOM. There is a strong regional bias for the South. Many of the students from outside of the South have ties to the area. This may keep you from getting a secondary.

How many schools total are you willing to apply to? Around 11?

I would take off WCU. Add the 3 Touro's and SOMA.

I agree with dropping WCU and adding Touros. Also how are you not applying to COMP? Or at least COMP-NW? I think you can drop LUCOM unless you really want to go there (I think you'll get into one of the other schools on your list).

Apply to both Marian and LMU-DCOM. I'm pretty sure they are either lax with their GPA cutoff or they calculate GPAs differently (like they only consider the last 120 credits or something).

If you have the money, I'd throw in some reaches. You have a nice mix of low and mid tier schools, so I'd go out on a limb and apply to some competitive ones too (you never know), if you can afford it.

EDIT: Also if you can take a handful of retakes and bring your GPAs into the 3.2/3.3 range you could significantly improve your chances.

Thanks you all for your suggestions <33
Could people explain why I should take off WCU? Is it because it is a new school?
Dropping LUCOM because it is a religious school right?

@user3 I'm adding SOMA to the list <33

WCU is very regional

LUCOM is very religious and very new. I am a pretty religious dude myself and I would not go there... its just too new and their connections with rotation sites are dismal. They set up shop in an area that honestly did not really need a medical school. And $100 they are going to try and snag some spots in Roanoke but VCOM and VT are going to hold onto that stuff with everything they got.

I could care less that they're religious, but they are brand new, and even the many new schools you already have are more established. With your stats, you should get into some school(s) on your list, so I just see it as unnecessary.

Here's a problem right here. If a minimum is stated...what is so difficult about understanding this?

Your GPAs would get you autorejected at my school. Suggest only the newest schools, except LUCOM.
