What are the odds of being accepted as a direct commission officer?

I am graduating with my PharmD this May and am very interested in joining the Army!

My question is, what are the odds of being accepted as a direct commissioned officer for pharmacy? Does anyone know of someone who has been rejected? Why were they rejected?

I'm not sure if there are many (or any) active duty pharmacists on this board. If you are dead set on joining the military, then your best bet would be to contact a healthcare recruiter at this point. That person can give you a much better idea on how competitive getting a direct commission as a pharmacist is.
