What do you tell your patients when... they ask you how long they will have to live, what is the percentage that the chemo will work vs obs, etc. I find it fascinating that attendings have all of these numbers at their disposal. What resources do you use for that? Thanks!

If you really need to know, you can look up the original clinical trials in PubMed or Google Scholar, that report outcomes like objective response rate and median survival. Realistically though, this is guesswork.
