When AMCAS or TMDSAS "verifies" your application, what does that mean? Is it sent to medical schools as soon as it's verified?

When AMCAS or TMDSAS "verifies" your application, what does that mean? Is it sent to medical schools as soon as it's verified?

They crosscheck your transcripts with the grades you reported so they can assure medical schools you aren't lying about your GPA.

And yes, sent to medical schools as soon as its verified.. though that can take awhile itself.
