So does anyone know what they actually do to "review your file"? I mean, are they all sitting around a big iron table in their wing-tipped thrones and smoldering cigarettes arguing about why you suck or are marginally due for consideration? Shouting back and forth about the potential you have to destroy all that is sacred at XYZ School of Medicine?

But honestly, how does the actual review process work, for those of you who may know? Obviously it varies from school to school, but any insights beyond that?
