I am planing to take the MCAT in Apr 2015. I would like to know what is good or excellent scores on the 2015 MCAT

Nobody knows since nobody has taken it yet. You'll have to wait for percentile information from real tests.

The equivalent to a 30 on the old MCAT will be around a 500 on the new exam.

I don't think that's right, a 500 on the new exam would be dead center of the distribution, which is the same as a 25 on the current test.

Assuming they try to keep a similar distribution of percentiles, you'll probably find that across the 56 point range (472 to 528):

very very few people (<5%) will score below a 17/498
similarly the top 5% will have scores of 43/515 and up
Probably less than the top 1% will break 48/520

Your right, I probably should have been a little more precise. When I said around 500 it actually is 510. I got my info from this thread here, they broke down the new range pretty well.
