What is considered clinical experience?

I volunteer at two hospitals and will be shadowing a MD in the future, is this considered clinical experience?

Another question: Is calculus required by most med schools?

Yes. LizzyM defined it in her sig after this same thread a few weeks ago.

I think most schools require Calc I...but only a few ask for a full year of calc.
