What questions to ask when interviewing with a new program?

Hi all!

Are there any specific questions you guys can think of that you'd ask when interviewing at a newly accredited program? This goes for questions to the program director as well as the (Family Med/Internal Med) residents the applicants will be meeting with.

Obviously questions about board pass rate, fellowship placement etc are out so I was wondering what you guys would ask.

I guess I'm afraid of sounding like I have doubts about the quality of training at a new program (which I don't), so I want to avoid that at all costs

There was recently a thread which included an excellent list of questions provided by a few residents that post here. I'd suggest finding that thread and looking there.

Thank you, I found that thread very helpful when coming up with questions for my other interviews.

But I'm still nervous about being able to come up with enough questions at the newly accredited program. When meeting the other residents (who are Family Med I believe) what could I be asking them?
