Hello everyone!!

Just curious, what is the proper way to address a graduate student that is teaching a class? Should you refer to the student as "Mr." or "Professor" so and so?

Mr/Ms
Instructor lastname, or just Instructor
I know letting undergrad students call you by your first name is all in vogue at the moment. I've found that it's not worth the boundary misunderstanding that 1% of students will have.

Thank you. It just hasn't crossed my mind until today that I am trying to get into a class that has a grad student teach it

The first few courses I taught, I encouraged students to call me by my first name. None of them did, and they all called me Professor. I've since given up.
