what to say at the port of entry in US?

Hello everyone!
I am an international dental graduate from India going to write nbde part1 in September. can you please tell me your opinion about what I should tell at the port of entry in US? should I say that I am here to write an exam or I should say that I am here just for a pleasant trip?I had tourist visa for 10 yrs since 2009 but never visited US before.
Please help me . thanks in advance.
