What's the average applicant's gpa and mcat?

I know that accepted is around 3.6 and a 29 but what about an applicant's on average? Because there are actually a lot of not so bright people that end up applying.

For US MD the average for an acceptance is about a 3.6-3.7 and a 32Q.

These averages have been creeping slightly upwards for the past few years.
 
That's accepted, right? What about just that apply.

2011DO: mat: 26.51 MCAT, 3.36 sGPA, 3.48 GPA

Note the standard deviation on the applicant data in particular.
