When do you get your financial aid packages from the school?

I just called the U of MN and they told me I would get my package in May. I turned in my FAFSA and filed my tax return at the beginning of February. Man, how am I supposed to make a good decision about which med school to attend if I have to wait until close to the May 15 deadline to get the total info??
