If you buy MSAR, buy anything from the AAMC, or register for the MCAT I think you are automatically signed up for an account.

There's no reason to make an AAMC account until you are ready to either buy the MSAR or register for the MCAT.

You'll most likely register for the MCAT before you buy the MSAR because the MSAR is only a 1-year subscription, so you'll likely want to buy it the April or May before your submit your application, by which point you will have hopefully taken the MCAT.
