Hey everyone!

I am needing some clarification and help!

I am an AA female, returning to school after taking 6 years off. I am completing my Associates transfer degree at a local community college this quarter, then taking the rest of the year to meet the admissions requirements for my state school (also a top 10 med school).

Any who, when I start classes at the state university I'll have only 1yr of the gen chem sequence completed. Plus some psych & sociology courses, as well as pre calc as far as med school prerequisites.

My question is, when should I be taking the MCAT? Since I'd only have one science series completed I still need a ton of science classes completed. Traditionally people take the MCAT their Jr year? And apply to med schools the start of their senior year? I'm just trying to figure out my time line here.

Thanks!
