Hi,
I'm currently studying medicine (second semester) in my home country outside Europe. I want to study and work in Europe or North America. I've read lots of guides and posts about each country but I'm still really confused.
I want to know which country suits my situation and when the best time to go is.

The important issues are: 1. I can't afford more than 8000€ per year right now, so only countries with lower tuition fees and job opportunities for students. 2. My current university is ranked 250-300 according to topuniversities.com and I want to study at a better university. 3. I want to get a PR afterwards so I prefer countries with less strict rules about that.

The options that I could think of up to now are: 1. Applying for German/Austrian medical schools now and starting from the first semester again (because supposedly application process for residency is way harder)
2. Finishing my studies in my home country and then applying for some European universities. In this case I'd be able to learn one or two new languages and choose more universities. Currently I'm fluent in English and pretty good at German. (Which country is better for residency and working as a specialist?)
3. Finishing my studies in my home country and then applying for some Canadian/American universities. If I choose this one, I wouldn't have to learn a new language and I'd focus on my gpa and usmle. But it seems really tough and competitive.

I'd really appreciate it if someone can give me some useful information or suggestions that help me decide.
