Does anyone have any resources on the percentage of PCPs (Family, Peds, Internal, Ob/Gyn) practitioners that work in specific environments (hospitals, HMOs, group practice, etc.)?

EDIT:

In some further research, I think I've anwered my own question (at least with regard to Family Practitioners) through this article: http://www.aafp.org/afp/990700ap/167.html

Also, the American Academy of Family Practitioners has a great website (Virtual Family Medicine Interest Group) for folks looking into FP as a career: http://fmignet.aafp.org/real.html

If anyone has any additional information on the other areas, please feel free to contribute. Thanks for indulging this and I hope that the information is helpful.

PCP has been found to block the NMDA-operated ion channels, thereby indirectly blocking the receptor that responds to glutamate, a normal chemical messenger.

Awesome answer Cerb... I was wondering why I felt so funny...
