Where should I stay in NYC?

Im trying to find a hotel for my Columbia interview later this month. Does anyone have any suggestions? All the hotels im finding are in the upper west side or south of that. Are there any hotels between the undergrad campus on 116th and the medical center on 168th? Or are they all south of 116th?

any input/advice would be great

I stayed at Hotel Mount Royal. It's on 94th street. You can get the subway from 96th street and it drops you half a block away from Columbia SDOS. It's less than a 15 minute ride. It's pretty cheap also, only $95 per night
