Nurses were voted 1st
that is because nurses and pharmacists have the most personal interaction with people.......while the real doctors only do the actual operative work. For instance, a nurse will develop a relationship with the patient while the physician comes in and spends limited time with the patient......same with dentistry.....dental hygenists do all the work, and then the dentist comes in and does a final checkup and quick treatment plan.....or just does operative work.
Perhaps that is somethig cool about pharmacy....lots of personal interaction....but I guess for me it didnt outweigh all the benefits of becoming a dentist. Dont believe me??
Check out this Wall Street Journal article from a few months ago that stated that dentistry was the best profession to get into...Its a great article that pinpoints the exact benefits of going into dentistry (and if Im not mistaken, the entrance requirements for dentistry are the same for pharm school....its a no brainer):
