i started shadowing at a dental office near me i have to drive 20 min to go to his office but he haven't graduate from a dental school from USA

In the other hand i found two dentists in a different town that accepted that i can do shadowing for them. One has gradate from USC dental school and the other from UCLA Dental school. But to drive to anyone of them i need 50 min driving

So i want to ask will dental school care where the dentist i shadow, graduate from especially USC is one of my top choices.

Doesn't matter. Shadow as many dentists and/or specialists you can get in contact with in order to get a feel for the diverse nature of the field. You're on the right track. Start shadowing early in your undergraduate career so you can see what your getting yourself into and rack up those shadowing hours.

Best of luck

This has got to be the most ignorant question I've seen on this forum thus far. Those dentists worked hard for their degree and are licensed to perform the tasks that they do. Op, be grateful you're even given the opportunity to shadow a dentist at all because if I were a dentist, I would not give you the time of day if you asked me this question lol.

the dentist that i have to drive 20 min, have been in the U.S since 1970. He make an easy English test and another for science and get his license. At this time it was easy to get it. but he doesn't know anything about dental school nowadays

The others two dentists have recently graduate from dental school one was class of 2010 and the other was 2009 as i remember, so i was thinking when i do shadowing for them i can ask them why they choose USC or UCLA dental schools and that will help me with the supplemental application or with the interview. And USC still use the same system of interview, the group interview and everyone take two randomly questions from the basket and answer them. That's why i asked the question as they might help me.

Absolutely, people love it when you ask why they graduated from the schools and judge them based on that.

Looks like you already had your mind made up before you started this thread.

Alot of people on here tend to do that.
