Hi!

Is it worth it to re-take some/all non-science undergrad courses to bring my cGPA up? These are all my low grades. Everything else is an A or B.
  • F in Spanish 101 (already planning to re-take)
  • C in Financial Accounting
  • C in some Geography course
  • C- in Finite Math my freshman year at a NYC college... Not sure if I'll be able to find a replacement class for that course. I haven't seen a finite math course anywhere at my local colleges.
I guess I mean, if I bring my cGPA up to a 3.5, and I still have 2 of those C grades, will it make or break me? Do I re-take them to bring my cGPA up a 3.55 or 3.6?

I seriously doubt it would matter having a few C's as along as your GPA was still good. Even if the C's were in pre-reqs I don't think it would matter as long as you had high grades in other pre-reqs and higher level science courses. Retake the F though for an easy GPA boost.

They won't care. Sounds like you have an upward trend.

They will care, but it probably wont be a deal breaker.
Schools get thousands of applicants, and most of them didnt fail Spanish 100.
Just keep everything else A/B and you will most likely be OK
