I need to know if I am a hopeless cause for grad school or not. I know I won't get into the top school but hey, I'm totally fine with that!

So here are the facts:

GPA: 3.3/4
I have done volunteer work at a local hospital and nursing home.
I am president of my service sorority.
I hold a leadership position in marching band.
I hold a full time job during the year
and I am a part of NSSHlaA on-campus.

I have great letters of recommendations and I am working on taking the GRE in a couple of weeks.

So what do you think my chances are?

I think your chance are good. I applied to a variety of top rated schools and smaller rated programs (due to increasing my chances for funding) and I got in. I had a 3.5 GPA, volunteer/shadow, officer of NSSLHA, audiology assistanship, and a full time job. I think your letter of intent really needs to stand out and just make sure you have a good GRE. (in my case I feel GRE score isn't everything but it sure helps)
