Will old MCAT scores still matter next cycle?

If I have to reapply next cycle, will my old MCAT score of 27 from January 2015 still make a difference even though most medical schools will no longer be accepting that MCAT? I hope they will just focus on the 517 I scored in May

Many medical schools will still be looking at the old MCATs for the class entering 2018 - at a glance about half

More recent score will likely carry more weight of course!

This is correct. Much like hsv mcat scores never go away.
