Sorry if I misspoke. I prefer the osteopathic approach and being taught from the holistic perspectiveOk the MD recoms should sub for a DO letter. I would also like to point out ( some may disagree) that it is a myth that DOs have a more rounded medical education than MDs. Education is the same. The main difference is DO have to learn OPP and may depending on the specialty of choice also have to take the USMLE as well as the COMLEX to get into some non AOA residencies. Both paths make awesome doctors and both have ups and downs. Neither is better than the other. Carey does have stronger student to student bonds than many other schools I interviewed at. Part of the reason I selected Carey over other schools like ACOM and LECOM.
That's cool. Best of luckSorry if I misspoke. I prefer the osteopathic approach and being taught from the holistic perspective
A medical education the allopathic way is still a great one but I am choosing the DO route.
Thanks! Best of luck to you as well. That's cool. Best of luck
For leasing/moving purposes, does any one know the approximate dates for orientation and the first week of classes?
Orientation for y'all is the 29th- 31st of July and classes will will start on Monday the 3rd of August. Mrs. Donna should be sending out the packets around May 1st. Welcome!
PECAN!!Thank you, looking forward to it.
Mr. Cage and I will sit down and think of a perfect nickname for you!PECAN!!
I would go with tree nuts... But pea nut or pea can't would be awesome.Mr. Cage and I will sit down and think of a perfect nickname for you!
As long as I'm not macadamia nut then I'm okay. But if Sensei Cage gives me that name then I'll accept it!I would go with tree nuts... But pea nut or pea can't would be awesome.
I've noticed on other schools forums that when the class fills up they offer acceptance seats for the following years class. So to start in 2016 as class of 2020. Anyone know if William Carey does this at all?
Does anybody know if WCUCOM offers medical Spanish? Could be useful...
Wait for the acceptance packet. It will have all that info for you. Things may have changed from last few years so waiting is the best way to know what you will needHi. Can anybody suggest some of the books that are required during the DO program. Thanks.
Any idea how full the class is at this point?
Hang in there. Thanks! You too. I interviewed at the end of January and was placed on deferred status which I assume is the same as the wait list. This waiting is slowly killing me but hanging in there. Making plans to reapply all the same. Trying to stay realistic.
Hi. Did anybody know when is the white coat ceremony for the class of 2019?
No news yet. They said they'll meet on Monday morning to decide acceptances from the last two interview sessions.Any wait list movement here yet? Any news at all on the admissions front?
I really hope you get off of the waitlist!Any wait list movement here yet? Any news at all on the admissions front?
