I recently got my MCAT score back and received a score that was way below what I had been averaging on my practice tests. I will be retaking the test and applying next cycle. However, since I already submitted AMCAS and have received several secondaries how do I go about withdrawing? Should I send the med schools an email or will not submitting any secondaries work? I don't want anything to count against me for next cycle.

If you do not submit your secondaries the schools will automatically withdraw your application at the conclusion of the cycle (in your case, the cycle ending when their secondary application is due since you will not submit them). You may receive a rejection email immediately, or as late as when the class of 2019 has begun classes next fall.

I believe you will still be considered a reapplicant at the schools you sent your primary application to.
