Problem: Took NBME 11 and got a 200, absolutely freaked out and decided to punt on the USMLE thing (since my exam was only four days after). After reading these forums and talking to a few people from my area, I realized it would prob be best to stick with COMLEX rather than attempt the USMLE and risk a terrible flop. The main concern now stems from the limitations that I will face. I want to specialize in something off of IM (cardio, GI, endo, rheum) but did I just blow the odds of that without having the USMLE?
Also, need to crush the comlex. Its in one week. I've through FA(a ton), pathoma (2x), most and about 85% of UWORLD (but my average is kinda low). Should I get as much combank under my belt as possible at this point? Also, what can I take to predict my comlex score?
Any thoughts would be welcomed.
