Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year!

I'm just curious... I've heard Temple does interviews but only for select students and that they will also accept someone who hasn't interviewed, is that true? or do they interview all qualified prospective students? Is their interview a phone interview or in person?

I'm only able to answer your last question but the interview I had was a phone interview.

How long was your phone interview? I have one on Monday and I'm nervous of course!
Mine lasted around 30 minutes. You'll be fine! The questions I was asked weren't very OT related, mostly stuff to give them a better idea about who I am. Just be yourself! Unless you're terrible. Then don't be your terrible self.

Lol thank you that is very helpful! Did you hear back from them yet?

My OTCAS was verified October 16th I think and I just received the email about a phone interview today.

I just received an invite for a phone interview....but they waitlisted me a few months ago. Sooooo I guess if there are people on the waitlist, you still have a chance to get an interview. I won't be participating in the interview, because I got accepted to a school higher on my list, so I hope that means more interviews for more people. How should I politely decline? Good luck with your interviews, everyone!

hi! I applied in October and had to wait until my fall grades came in for my application to be reviewed. I got contacted today by the program director for a phone interview- does he just call you at random during the times you put you were available or do they set up a specific day and time? Thanks!

He sets up a specific time to talk to you. I enjoyed being interviewed by him, he was so nice!

Hi! Do you think its safe to assume that if you're on the waitlist and get contacted for a phone interview there is a spot open? Did you hear anything back after yours?

Possibly yes. I got interviewed on february 8th (i was not on a waitlist) and got my acceptance less than 24 hours later. From what ive read, people who have phone interviews usually get accepted unless the interview goes extremely bad but i dont think that would happen

Are you willing to give any details about the interview? Like what kind of things were you asked?
