Haha - I guess I have never noticed this in March... are we saying more people try to fill their controlleds in March because there are less days in february?

I train all of my customers. I show them what I call “the finger method”. Sometimes people giggle when I say “the finger method” but I assure them that I’m serious and this trick works every time.

The finger method works like this - if you have a 28 day supply put your finger on the calendar on the day that you picked up. Then, just bring your finger down 4 notches on the calendar and you will end up on your pickup date. If it’s a 30 day supply move down 4 notches and to the right 2 notches and your on your pickup date.

All my people know that I will fill their controlled substance with a smile if they use the finger method. Anyone who does not use the finger method can piss off.

I’ll fill without questions as long as you play by the rules.

What really annoys me: they all know how to count the days. I've never had someone who didn't understand that they can fill it a day "early" following a 31-day month. But for some reason, every March they want to come in saying how they get it filled on on the same day every month and can't believe that they won't be able to fill it for another 2 days.

One of these times I want to offer to actually keep them on the same day every month. They can have their 2 day early fill in March at the cost of filling 1 day late in February, April, June, August, September, November, and January.
