Hey yall! I am attending my first national medical conference in a few weeks to do an oral presentation. Aside from presenting and listening to other presenters, in what ways can I maximize my time at a conference? I am a MS3 currently.
I seek to network with other residents, attend the exhibit hall (and get free stuff), and attend sessions....but what else should I do? To my knowledge, there are no residency programs with a booth at the conference I am attending.
If you are a resident/attending, what did you wish you did that you never did from attending these large conferences?

Thanks!

In addition to networking with residents, network with people who are in your research field, and/or the things that you are interested in and develop potential collaborations.
