I'm not talking about area or undergrad campus here-- strictly medical students.

USC kind of surprised me, as there were some girls that could probably be models (no joke). Even discounting those, it seemed like most of the girls were pretty attractive. The guys, if I can remember correctly, were just average.

After interviewing at several out of state schools and most of the in-state schools in Florida (except UF), I would have to say that Miami had the hottest female med students around. When I was in the tour I was really impressed (by more than just their facilities)!! In fact I think they have a couple of Miami Soul cheerleaders in their medical class!! GO CANES!! Put my vote done for Miami.

dank is right. I've been to the school, and lemme tell ya, the female med students at Miami are something else. Not only that, but the ratio of females to males in their incoming class is 3:2. 1.5 girls for every guy :) , can anyone beat that? That's why it's at the top of my list! :D :D I'd say UF med students are right up there as well. G'town girls left a lot to be desired. Haven't interviewed at any of the Cali schools, but I'm sure there are some attractive and intelligent girls out there as well.

definitely saw some cuties at vanderbilt....

Penn seemed to have a high concentration of attractive women.

Vandy, Mount Sinai, and Columbia.

Penn? Are you kidding? There were like 50 people and I didn't see one! Blah!

Maybe I had a good day. I don't know. :)

I guess attractiveness is relative. There are a couple of attractive guys in my class at Tufts (who are mostly taken), but not many. It really depends on what you consider to be attractive; if you find short Asian women particularly attractive then you will be in heaven at Tufts (same if you find Asian men especially attractive). When I interviewed at SLU, there were some attractive guys but not as many girls. Tulane is also known for recruiting attractive females. I personally am physically attracted to guys who are taller than me (I'm 5'8) and are slender and Northern European looking guys, but that's just my taste, everyone is different. And a guy's personality factors in big time for a lot of women..

Anywhere in Texas...oh la la. Not every thing is bigger in Texas, but theres a lot more.

I would say MUSC, my best friend has a house in Charleston, the med students and the entire female population in their 20's are hot!! Not to mention College of Charleston is about 70% chicks!

I think both UCLA and USC have some hot girls. Hell if you live in southern cali you'll meet plenty of hot females.

You're not kidding about USC. There's some seriously attractive first years. But then the grad students aren't much to look at, so the med students (and pharm students) always look a little extra attractive.

now that i'm going to columbia, i'll happily propagate the rumor that frantz choses the class based on good looks.

Or find me on the second look weekend (if there is one!)

people...UCLA is the place to be for quality education and hot females!!!! As far as males go...well I went there for undergrad, hopefully for med school, so enough said!!!

What about Canadian medical schools? I heard that a lot of students there are chic.

I was overwelmed by the number of hot guys at Mount Sinai

I was happy with what I saw at Penn....Saw some cuties at Yale too...

I'd like to bring this thread back from the grave. I was excited about my interview at USC until I figured out that the medschool is not on the undergrad campus...the scenery at USC undergrad could definitely close the deal for me. All the med students were in exams when I was there so I wasn't very impressed, but my sample population was low.
The ladies of UVM were very friendly.

No good looking men and women at any schools I've been interviewed. I simply don't think people have time to groom themselves well in med school...and, sadly, so few of us look great without any polishing.

My female student interviewer at GW looked like a model.

One of the male tour guides at BU is so HOT! His eyes are electrifying. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

I haven't had much luck laying eyes on cuties but I'll be at USC soon so I'll keep my eyes open

There was this one goofy looking med student at one school, she kinda looked sexy if you squinted your eyes and turned your head at an angle.

Maybe the medical school whose dermatology/cosmetic surgery department ranks highest in the nation... after all people might want a good looking doctor to make them good-looking, eh?

MINNESOTA: at least that's what I want to think because I'll prolly end up there

Dartmouth (both undergrad and grad) has some of the ugliest women alive. Seriously, they are the butch, sweatpants-donning, hooded-sweatshirt-wearing, ungroomed type. They smell awful too, unless you like the eau de parfum of day-old sweat.

The men are known to be outdoorsy, rugged, hairy, and hardy. Unfortunately, the women are known to be outdoorsy, rugged, hairy, and hardy as well.

Not all of the women are Dartmouth are as described above, of course. There are definitely the exceptions, beautiful ones. Many of my female friends are rather lovely.

But ask anyone who goes to Dartmouth (especially undergrad), and he/she, if honest, will definitely attest to the unusually staggering proportion of crusty, butch rugby women.

They do have cool personalities, however. (A statement which is really not meant to be sarcastic, but which is unintentionally mean and comical nonetheless.)

have you guys been to berkeley. i know its not a med school, but all the chicks there are dogs. DOGS i tell you. DOGS!!!!

well... lemme tell ya'll where it's NOT at.... louisville... the class has 39% females... and i think i saw one or two during the pre-orientation. but i guess this basically means i'll be studying a lot. s'all good :) haha

good-looking guys at Emory!

I'm sure a few beer would relieve the tension in your next and give you the results you were looking for.

Sadly I haven't seen anything too exciting at my interviews...but I've only been to the Wisconsin schools, which pretty much sums it up.

i havent really encountered any hot boys at the medical school ive interviewed at........... my plan is to hit the bars and lounges to find my men....perhaps an older one with dough and a ride!

Holy cow, this thread's three years old.

let me first say that i can't believe i'm replying to this antique thread. and the subject matter is a bit offensive...

but when i was at USC i was really struck by how attractive the women were...as for guys, it was hard to say since 8/10 at my interview were women. but the students were hot. like it was almost distracting. it kind of scared me, although it's not like LA isn't already the place for ridiculously hot people. i'm from the east coast and have only visited east coast schools, and so i thought it was a southern cali thing, but then after reading the 2002 responses, i think it might be a USC thing...

Darn it, I knew I shouldn't have cancelled my interview there. Silly me for wanting to save some money.

500 YEARS IN THE FUTURE

I know that we haven't used words since the Dolphins took over the solar system, forcing us to communicate by whale song in the seventh dimension, but I found this machine at an excavation site and I just wanted to add that the students on Titan were all, like, models or something, but the chicks at the University of Mars Medical School were completely uggers.

now this is a great thread....

duke.
southern belles. that's why it ranked so highly with me.... the possibility of leaving the northeast and moving to a land of warm weather, belles, and.... basketball? i don't like college sports....

even on the tour, i checked out the recent class photos and confirmed my theory-- the girls at duke are hot!

hilarious post!

For undergrad, Berkeley has to have the ugliest girls on the face of the planet. I mean, it's REALLY bad here. The girls are some of the most rancid-looking hags I've ever seen in my life. I've been to UCSF a few times and the girls there looked equally ugly.

Among med schools, I'm guessing they get uglier the further up you go in the academic food chain. I'm guessing it would be pretty hard to find Girls Gone Wild type girls at Harvard, Columbia, Stanford, etc.

Most of the guys in my UCI interview group were hot. If you were one of them and you're reading this, go to UCI. And when you're there, tell them to accept me!

The truth is, there ARE some hotties at Berkeley and guys who get denied by them go around and tell everyone Berkeley girls are the ugliest in the universe. Can you honestly tell me you've never walk through Sproul without checking out girls?

and don't try to prove me wrong. I've dated several cuties at Berkeley and personally know many single once. You just need to know the right people and hang out with the right crowd.

Of my interviews, Michigan had the most attractive men and women.

And I wear hooded sweatshirts often and fleeces because I LIVE IN NEW ENGLAND and it's cold -> and no, I do not look ungroomed and "butch"

I had to wipe the spittle from my face after Yale and Columbia- yum. Hopkins and MSSM made me violently ill.

Dartmouth has some of the largest, most athletic looking woman I have ever seen. Never fat, but as if they were bred to huck a discus 300ft. Not sure why.

Do you make "spittle" when you see an attractive guy? An interesting euphamism for drooling or your mouth watering, I guess. I had an image of you spitting in disgust (on a windy day perhaps), but then you said yum?

I thought my post was clear, so I can only surmise that this painful response was:
a. an attempt to prove how spectacularly dull-witted you are.
b. demonstrate that you have the personality of door knob.
c. show that you do not know how to use OR spell the word “euphEmism.”
d. an indirect way of telling everyone you got a 2 on the MCAT verbal.

I must agree with you. Michigan definitely had the most attractive looking men and women of all my interviews. I interviewed with two females, and they were cute, but my male faculty interviewer was GORGEOUS. I'm seriously considering going because of him. I'm serious, he was really quite attractive, which now has me reconsidering my ban on dating doctors . . .

In addition, the MS1, 2s and 4s (not many 3s around b/c of clerkships), came by the droves for the lunch and looked well groomed and happy. Happiness makes anyone look good. My interview class was good looking as well.

And there was much diversity, so if people like short Asians, they were there as well as tall Nordics.

So, all in all, Go Blue!
