Dr. Doan,

Thanks for all the info that you provide. As a medical student still considering several different specialities, I am a regular on this site and I can honestly say that the Optho discussion group is the best on this board.

Could you tell me where you got the match stats that you have listed on your FAQ thread? I am particularly interested in the average USMLE scores that you posted. If there is a source (preferably on-line) in which these figures are published for all specialties I would be very interested in checking it out.

Thanks again for all the work that you do on this board.

I'm not Dr. Doan, but...

this information is published by SFMatch. As far as I know,
the NMRP does not summarize USMLE info. If you are interested
in uro, ent, plastics, neurosurg, neurology, I am sure previous
applicants have that information. But, as an optho applicant,
I did not have access to the other files.
Here is the complete report file for optho (2004). Take this
with a grain of salt, since there is much more to your application
than your board scores.
