Sorry, i know this is for urls

but, i went to one of the links in this post, the princeton review one, and it said that brown has a lower average gpa that creighton. is this true? creighton is 3.7 and brown is 3.5

hey thanks for all the links, theyre going to be helpful. i wanted to post a couple that ive been looking at in the past couple of days:

freemedappadvice.com - i saw this listed in a sdn forum, apparently its brand new, run by an incoming M1, and its got a lot of good application tips

studentdoc.com - there's a function where you can enter your mcat scores and gpa to see what schools youre competitive at

Most of Brown's medical students come from special programs. They have numerous automatic acceptance programs and take most medical students from there undergrad school. Hence many students don't bother applying. Creighton takes many out-of-state students so top notch students in states without medical schools will apply here. While Creighton isn't as well-known, it is definitely more selective.
 
I'm not sure if this is appropriate for this thread, but I thought I'd try.

I posted a list that I compiled from my 06-07 MSAR, and I've seen it a few times not directly quoted around here, and wanted to clarify that it was taken from the MSAR, and not from people's individual experiences. I also wanted to have it handy for all those peeps on the secondary thread who keep asking which schools screen! ;)

This is a good resource, but unfortunately, the survey sample sizes are too small (e.g. Harvard had 4, Hawaii had 3) for accurate assessments, I believe. Take it with a big grain of salt.
 
what happened to the Official 2005 Waitlist thread link from the main post? It doesn't seem to work anymore. Has it moved to an archive somewhere?
