LOR Question

How old can an academic LOR be? Can it be from a professor who taught a class that I look over 10 year ago?

My problem is that I have all the prereqs completed, but they are from 1994. I'm currently enrolled in a Microbiology class at a community college because CCs seem to be the only schools that offer science classes at night in my area. Do you think there would be an issue with submitting a LOR from a community college professor? I suppose if needed, I would have to enroll in additional classes, get good grades in them, and try to get recent LORs.

Hi there,
Some medical schools may have an issue with your letter being that old. I am sure that you have changed (most likely for the better) over the past ten years. Some medical schools may also have an issue with your pre-reqs being ten years old so check with them. Some want more current coursework so gather info before submitting application.
