Sorry to get off topic, but I did not like the new bond movie either. Felt like the whole story was a bunch of pieces slapped together in haste. Casino Royale was so much more interesting. I was up until 2:30am and came out very disappointed. Loved Daniel Craig though.
 
I don't want to kill the mood but won't those of us who get notification by mail have to wait even longer?

Also, yeah, I didn't like the movie too much but some of the action scenes were neat... I didn't want to spoil it for people wanting to see it.

I can't wait until we know (the d-school we will be attending) and start a school-specific thread in which we get to talk to our future classmates. :D

And then, of course, we will start the facebook groups, befriend each other, etc etc.:rolleyes:

the count down is killing me, i just want to go to d-school so bad...i'm starting to REALLY slack off in classes...it's not good

Yeah...I got some real slacking issues this semester. I really need December to get here...

p.s. careful about slacking off! you really don't wanna be taking classes in summer or something! (some schools don't even allow that,, esp. if you're taking pre-reqs as you're applying..) keep up the good work everybody!

Ohhh man i think everyone is at that point now....every day seems like an eternity now. I wish i can just freeze myself and wake up on Dec 1st like that southpark episode where cartman wants the new wii.
 
worst thing is going to be possibly waiting POST december 1st...
 
Geeez this countdown gets me more nervous, I like just living my life and not counting down 11 days. I mean I know its coming but 11 days! man o man

What kind of attitude is that? That kind of attidude will get you nowhere. Stop being a pessimist, jeez. It's a "countdown" not "count and be down about it".

Besides, you had a UoP interview, are you really worried about not hearing from anyone on Dec. 1st? A 97% interview acceptance rate, and you're the one being pessimistic about it lol. UIC is 58% interview acceptance rate, and I'm relaxed about it. Chill, the acceptances will come on Dec. 1st ;)

Think you are overreacting there a little buddy. I'm actually pretty optimistic about my chances of getting an acceptance Dec 1st. Just stating a simple ol fact, sorry if it was too pessimistic for your taste.

do any of you think its possible some people might get a letter on the saturday before, the 29th this year? some schools put the letters in the mail in hopes that it arrives on 12/1. i know last year a number of people got letters a day or two early!

wouldn't that be sweet.

I went to UoP on thursday and they were sad to inform all the applicants that they won't be able to notify us on Dec. 1st b/c of the thanksgiving holiday... stupid holiday.... They hope to inform us all by the first week of dec. and by dec. 10th at the latest. :(
