I wanted to know current nycom students' opionions on whether its such a good idea to commute half an hour or more (even 45 mins cuz LI traffic comin from suff to nass in the morning is crazy) to NYCOM as a freshman. Although its kinda long and arduous, Id save a lotta money since im commuting from home. Any NYCOMers out there, plz help me out.

I did it everyday this past year (Babylon to school). It's not bad, just make sure you leave early so you can make it on time.

First year I lived a solid hour away in suffolk county...I found the drive relaxing...I still had enough time to do everything i needed to do. Lets just say i listened to a lot of news talk radio in the afternoon and howard stern in the morning. I'll be living out there again this year, so it cant be that bad. Good Luck.
