WHy don't they cover mental health equally? What are the Psych Leaders 'APA' doing about it, besides reviewing DSM criterias ?

DSM makes life tough, esp it is easy for the Judges / Attorneys to read and question the Psychiatrists judgement. There is no DSM criteria for MI, DM, ABc use, Surgery procedures....I strongly feel it is more of a liability than of being any help.

Just sharing some thoughts....not sure if they are right.

It's happening and the APA is a large part of it.

Look up mental health reimbursement parity laws and iterations of those words.
