My Chemistry tutor said that her friend recently graduated Pharmacy school and works at Rite Aid like 3 days a week and makes $120,000. Is this possible?

Of course it's possible.

120 k a year is reasonable if you are working 12 hour shift for 3 days a week

10 hr shifts 3 days a week is the perfect schedule. I would love to have a 4 day weekend for the rest of my life.

$120 k a year is not what it used to be 10-15 years ago.

It's below the poverty line. I don't know they can survive on this.....

Of course the average PC cost over $1,300.00 in 1998 as opposed to about $600.00 today. The same with just about any electronic device you would need.

It's such a silly argument. You aren't living 15 years ago.

And where is he working (location)?

I'm going to assume somewhere on Long Island, considering that's where my tutor and I are from, but perhaps her friend is in another state...I don't think I asked.

In 3 Big chains, Rite Aid = worst benefits, lowest salary, worst 401k plan. Stay the **** away. Well, they all suck... but picking Rite Aid is like picking the worst outcome for your future

Just left RA after a 2 year stretch. Worst experience ever. The PDM, in all her 2 year post graduate glory treated us like we we slaves on a paddle boat. No complements, no team building, not even a thank you. Not that I was expecting a parade or anything, but it would have been nice to have a company that pretended to be sympathetic to us meat-shields in the trenches. Instead of broom-handling us. She seemed to get off on contradicting us after asking a question, and not liking our answers. Her: " why has your Rxs gone down?". Me: "well, there was big changes last month in the state Medicaid plans, you also have a lot of people out of town for the last bit of vacation before school starts.". Her: "no, your answer isn't right. That doesn't explain why your script count went down 2.65% this month when compared to last year." ya, stay away from RA. They are pushing for that 15min bs again.

I'll pretty much work ANY job except Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens.
