If you're going for constant shortage issues, then all of the electrolytes:
1. Magnesium sulfate
2. Calcium gluconate
3. Sodium chloride
4. Calcium chloride

Then the anesthetic agents:
1. Lidocaine
2. Bupivicaine

How about outrageously high for no reason:
1. Isoproterenol

Isuprel is definitely outrageously expensive for no reason, but I doubt it would be focus due to how infrequently it's utilized. I just don't think the return on investment would be there.

I think IV fluids are a no-brainer if they are set up for sterile manufacturing.

Might as well throw in sodium bicarbonate while we're at it, plus sterile vials and bags.

Isoproterenol is a solid choice. Add Vasopressin to that list too.

Everything else was unnecessary to begin with. Not every GI bleed who was taken off Protonix IV had hemorrhagic shock, and those patients with an SBP of 190 did just fine with PO hydralazine instead...

I believe we'll see isoproterenol price dropping in 2019. There's already at least two generic manufacturers of it now. And Valeant can't even supply their brand Isuprel.... it's constantly unavailable/backordered from Amerisource.

Don't forget EPI PFS
Dilalaulau
Morphine

Ooh, Ive got 4 more. How about:
alteplase
kcentra
Pen G
Bicarb

We got all those Protonix drips P&T swapped to BID. Saved 3 vials a day. $$$$$ Ballin!
