Thank you for your thoughts! Yeah, I definitely see how I could incorporate all those things you mention by speaking of #2. I think I just have to make sure to not talk about my private high school in a negative light (wealth, privilege, snobby students).I think 2 fits the scope of this question the best. All diversity prompts are simply asking you to speak on an aspect of your life that makes you unique and has shaped you into the individual that you are today who can bring those perspectives to the class. 2 nails this with insight into your family life, upbringing, and challenges you've faced that are certainly fundamental to who you are today. 1, 3, 4 are more like "single experience" type of answers that - as you've written it - only translate into a single life lesson. They're asking more about what has shaped you fundamentally as a person, less so one single characteristic from an isolated event. Good luck!
Thank you Goro! As a follow up - in terms of what I could contribute to X medical school I was thinking of going with the route of having a perspective of these two different backgrounds, aiming to provide healthcare in underserved communities, and promoting mentorship and support for upcoming generations.Go with 2, and focus on the tags to riches angle.
