You could receive interviews at some DO schools and I suggest these:
VCOM (all 4 schools)
UIWSOM
WCU-COM
ACOM
WVSOM
MU-COM
ATSU-SOMA
PCOM Georgia and South Georgia
LECOM (Erie, Seton Hill, Elmira)
UP-KYCOM
NYIT-AR
Noorda-COM
The above are the more preferable DO schools with your MCAT of 498 and most have MCAT medians in the 498 to 502 range.
You could add these schools also:
ICOM
BCOM
LMU-DCOM
ARCOM
LUCOM
KANSAS-COM (new school)
Apply in June and submit all your secondaries by July.

Hm I'd say to make sure you look at the in-state bias for some of these DO schools.
I think that PCOM, NYITCOM, LECOM are long shots and are the more competitive schools. Otherwise thats a pretty solid list ^

My biggest advice is to apply as early as possible. The earlier you submit your app, the sooner you'll get secondaries and interviews. You have a very high GPA, so I think it can help push you over the edge. You also have great ECs. DO programs are all about hollistic review so I think you have a fair shot.

Goodluck to you !!

The branch campuses of PCOM and NYIT (Georgia, South GA, AR) are more accommodating. So do not fear you are uncompetitive if you have seen the main campuses’ average MCAT.

Do not apply to
BCOM
LMU-DCOM
ARCOM
LUCOM

They have significant issues with administration or board pass rates.
