No, I would not recommend it as it is unlikely you will significantly improve. Depending on the rest of you application, you likely should apply DO if you have no objections to that.

There is a couple more things you should add that will impact this. Are you ORM or URM? 509 for an URM would be good at alot of schools I would think. If not your GPA and MCAT are both low for MD unfortunately (gpa would have been fine with a high MCAT. What's wrong with DO schools? You have the stats to get in at the ones that have really good matches.
